Cher

Today we picked Cher. Here’s Wednes­day Wicked­ness!

1. “A girl can wait for the right man to come along but in the mean­time that still doesn’t mean she can’t have a won­der­ful time with all the wrong ones.”    Have you ever had a rela­tion­ship that you knew was wrong, but had fun anyway?

If I told you that I’d have to kill you…

2. “Hate crimes are the scari­est thing in the world because these peo­ple really believe what they’re doing is right.” What group of peo­ple com­mit­ting hate crimes in your coun­try scares you the most and why?

The peo­ple who are burn­ing the Koran and believe that all Muslim’s are ter­ror­ists is pretty scary and since I’m half Jew­ish, the con­tin­ual hatred and prej­u­dice that still survives.

3. “Hus­bands are like fires — they go out when they’re left unat­tended.”   How much effort do you feel a good rela­tion­ship requires?”

I believe rela­tion­ships are like gar­dens, some­times you’re the flower and your part­ner is the gar­dener and then vice-​​versa. If there’s not a com­mit­ment on either side, then Weeds pop up and that gets hella messy!

4. “I won’t be able to do what I’m doing for­ever. There aren’t that many scripts float­ing around for fifty-​​year-​​old chicks.”

Why are there roles for men till they get very old, yet very few roles are writ­ten for older women?

I don’t believe in that!..It’s thoughts like that that per­pet­u­ate the myth that older women can’t be sexy and vital and there­fore no one wants to see them in movie roles. Cher is a per­fect exam­ple, look how she sets such a fine exam­ple for all of us women!

5. “I’ve always taken risks, and never wor­ried what the world might really think of me.”

Does what other peo­ple think effect what you do?

Cher would know, she had a fling with Mr. Sci­en­toligist himself…Bada bing. Do I care what other peo­ple think? Not as much as when I was younger but I still do. Those who claim they could care less, are usu­ally sociopaths!

6. “If you really want some­thing you can fig­ure out how to make it hap­pen.”

Do you agree with Cher?

Yes, I agree, what else can I answer on that one?

7. “To me mar­riage is for five or ten years.”

In you expe­ri­ence, can a mar­riage last for­ever? 

What does “for­ever” mean? I mean when you’re dead and gone? Sure why not? Wait a minute…Vampire cou­ples are together for­ever… I won­der if they argue about who didn’t put the cap back on their fang paste…I hear those groans!

8. “Until you’re ready to look fool­ish, you’ll never have the pos­si­bil­ity of being great.” When was the last that you felt foolish?

Uhh, look at the name of my Blog! I love being fool­ish and am proud of it, thank you very much!

9. “Words are like weapons; they wound some­times.”

What types of things have peo­ple said have really hurt you?

Every intel­li­gent woman wants to be told she’s beautiful…Every dumb woman wants to be told she’s intelligent..I’ll leave it at that. Not say­ing the two qual­i­ties are mutu­ally exclu­sive though…I’m a prime example!

10. “It’s not nec­es­sary, in order to be a com­plete per­son, that I have a man. It’s not the end-​​all, be-​​all of my life.”

Do you need to be in rela­tion­ship to feel whole?

You mean that “whole” Jerry McGuire “You com­plete me crap”? Uhhh, no…I don’t need a man to make me feel whole, pfffft! But I would like another half, please...
