Saturday 9: Just Like Me

1. Who in your life do you think behaves and thinks the most like you do?

RIGHT HERE: The Debster Chronicles… Yes, Ladies and Gents, we were separated at birth and have now just discovered each others after all these years..a truly heart-warming story! And now you have everything to be scared of, because we plan to take over the world! (evil laughter)

2. As a kid, were you ever wrongly accused (and punished, if it went that far) for something you didn’t do? If so, what was it? What happened?

Actually, it was I who blackmailed and manipulated my two older brothers to take the rap for anything I did…Kind of like Bugs and Elmer Fudd, with me being the wascally wabbit. I remember doing an “innocent” think like throwing dirt clods at neighbors doors and then would run home and tell my parents that my brothers were doing something “badddddd”! Because they were older, “they were supposed to know better”

3. What about as an adult, were you ever wrongly accused for something you didn’t do?? Do you think it’s worse to be accused as a child or an adult? Why/why not?

I can’t think of anything off hand that I was wrongly accused for because I’m a model citizen…BUT, I think it’s much worse to get accused as a child because really a child is dependent on other people whereas an adult can just say “Screw you, if you don’t believe me!” and walk off…

3. What’s the scariest weather situation you’ve experienced?

My son went to boarding school as a teenager in Utah and lemme tell you, no wonder the Mormons are so wacky! I had to drive through snow storms that make me still clench my teeth when I think about those times and those wack-a-doo people who caused all Utah’s weather! No offense to Mormons reading this…Would Mormon’s really do MeMe’s though? Aren’t they considered “EVIL”?

4. If you could wake up tomorrow morning in another country, where would you want to be and why?

The Country that has yet to be invented, where all worship me like the Goddess I am…

5. Instead of going to work Monday, if you could spend the entire day doing something else–any one or two things that you absolutely love doing–what would you do?

Didn’t you mean “doing someone else”? Enough said…

I didn’t have this blog six months ago, so I’ll answer this one in March 2011, if we’re all still alive according to the Mayan Prophecies…

Sunday Stealing: The Threesome Meme

1. At what time of your life were you happiest and why?

I think my early twenties because gravity hadn’t introduced itself to my body yet and the world was my oyster!

2. Where and when did you meet the love of your life?

I haven’t had the chance to meet Viggo Mortensen yet, but when I do, I’ll let you know.

3. Favourite item of clothing ever or most treasured possession?

There’s a shirt I bought from an auction (image below) that was for an environmental charity event and my fave. actress (yes, even more than A.J.) Cate Blanchett (go look her up on IMDB if you don’t know who she is, you’ll recognize her, she was in the same movie “LOTR” with my beloved).….I’m such a foolish groupie, aren’t I? but it’s not my most “treasured” possession..Oh yeah, I forgot my chastity belt that keeps me pure for Viggo!

4. Must-have makeup or beauty item?

lip balm, because my I like to keep, well, never mind…that’s my final answer!

5. What do you think is your worst vice or fault .. honestly?

My nickname is Queen of Denial, so that should give you a clue. I don’t like to deal with issues that I need to deal with..

6. Would you tell your friend, if you knew her husband/wife was cheating on her/him?

I did that once and my best-friend never forgot that and she’s still with him till this day..Who do you think she chose?

7. What ambitions, wishes or desires, for your life, do you still hold close to your heart?

Move to New Mexico, meet Viggo or someone who is a clone of him and live in total and complete bliss with him, see my son happy and fulfilled in life..Really, simple things actually.

8. Where do you see yourself five years from now?

In N.M. with my cats, working at a job I love, in a healthy and happy romantic relationship…see above, yada, yada, yada…

9. If you had the choice of any talent with the penalty that you would lose a talent in exchange, what would you want to gain, and what would you be willing to loose?

I’d like to gain the talent of being happy with myself because that’s a REAL talent and losing my lousy self-esteem in exchange. That makes sense doesn’t it?

10. Name three things that you do want completed in your life before retiring?

Career-wise? That’s a weird question, too much like questions I’ve already answered, NEXT!

11. Of all of the people out there who would have been your fantasy date? Date, not romance…

Angelina Jolie..the question was “date” and two women who are friends can innocently have a date for lunch, for a movie, etc..I would love to meet her.

12. Google put another spell on you, you have just changed genders for 48 hours… what are you going to do with your 2 days?

Find a gorgeous girl and have sex of course…Duh!

13. If you owned your own island, and got to make it your own country, what would you call it? And why?

Luna Land, because I love the moon and Vampires and Werewolves can come and live without the fear of persecution and stress…I don’t know!

14. If you rubbed the lamp and got 3 wishes, what would they be?

These questions are all beginning to sound alike here…

1) To be with a true romantic soul-mate (preferably Viggo) in a healthy, happy relationship

2) To travel around the world to whatever places I wanted to see.

3) To see my son fulfill his dreams after all his hard-work. He’s an ex heroin addict who’s been sober for two years now and is doing so fantastically! Thank the Goddess…

15. What is your earliest memory of puberty?

Do we really have to go there? I think I was always boy crazy so that doesn’t count..I developed quicker than the other girls in my class and the boys paid me the kind of attention I didn’t want, because I was such a tomboy. Now, of course I want that attention and I don’t get it

16. If you got banished to your Island alone and could only bring 5 things, what would they be?

My two cats (I would still be “technically” alone), a computer so I can still do meme’s , my favorite book, which I can’t choose at the moment because I’m still bummed out I have to be alone and a boat so that when the banishment was over I could sail back home.

Saturday 9: Don’t Let the Sun Catch You Crying

1. When was the last time you cried?

I’m a very emotional person and if I hear a song that I really resonate with or see a movie/t.v. show that stirs me up, I cry…So sue me! The last time I cried though was from LAUGHTER when I first saw what is now one of my fave. movies, “The Men who Stare at Goats”…I can’t remember the last time before that I couldn’t stop laughing so hard..It’s a very quirky, dark kind of humoured movie. Sounds like I’m describing myself, doesn’t it. I’m not a huge George Clooney fan like so many woman are, but I’ve got to admit he is one of the best actors out there because he can laugh at himself. If you watch this movie, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. I saw it two weeks ago and haven’t cried since…

2. If you could wake up tomorrow with a new talent, what would it be?

I want to be a female version of Dr. Doolittle…I love animals more than most humans and to be able to talk with them would be a great talent. I could go down to the horse races and talk to the horses and see who among them is set for winning, BINGO!

3. Who is someone (other than yourself) would you like to go back into your past and talk to and why?

My family had a cleaning lady before I was born who was really another member of the family. She was half African-American and half Native-American. Since I had such a horrible relationship with my real mother, Azalee (that was her name) became my second and most-loved mother. I’d love to go back in time and really listen more to her stories instead of focusing on myself which I did when she was alive.

4. What is your favorite meal eating out?

Alright, this sounds really dirty for some reason. I know my mind is in the gutter, it’s part of my charm. I’m assuming the question is what do I like to eat when I go to restaurants? I love pasta! Not bogged down with heavy rich sauces but really light and fresh pasta. That’s the way to go!

5. Do you feel energized or drained by being in a group situation? If the answer is “it depends,” on what does it depend?

Straight up, even if I’m with my closest-friends and we’re in a group, I run out of battery juice. I was built to relate to people in small intimate groups. And NO I don’t mean orgies..I’m just an introvert, although you wouldn’t be able to tell because I’m so wordy on this blog

6. What word do you use far too frequently?

I was born in the San Fernando Valley so I talk like a Val. girl and say ” Like, OH MY GOD” probably way more than my friends want to hear. Just kidding, I outgrew that in my teens…I know more then one word, yada, yada, yada…I also use that word a lot.

7. What’s a word you’ve invented? (alternate question: What needs a word but doesn’t have one yet?)

I used to call my brothers “thonkers” when I was little because I heard them use a rather colorful word F&%CK a lot and didn’t know what it meant, but I knew it was something badddddd…So, when I was mad at them I used to call them thonkers…

8. Pick out one of your favorite songs. Go to Song Facts and tell us about the song’s history.

This gave me a good reason to go look up one of my favorite song’s meanings..The song is “A Whiter Shade of Pale” originally sung by Procul Harem, probably most of you don’t know who the hell that is, but it’s been covered so many times. The info. I found on it, was LONG…What I got was “the song wanted to conjure up a movie and the mood of being in a relationship”. I mean to me the whole info. was interesting, but I doubt all of you would think so. I’m not so crazy about how it was sung originally and the video is all 60 hippy-dippy, not that there’s anything wrong with that. I’m a child of the 60’s, BUT I like Annie Lennox’s version better, so here’s a vid. of her singing “A Whiter Shade of Pale”

9. What is your absolute favorite piece of furniture you have and why?

My bed because it’s where I’m most creative

     Knock on wood, I’ve only had minor fender-benders which happened when I was a wild girl listening to the wild boys of Duran Duran, not paying attention to anything else…Seriously, I used to listen to them all the time, sigh…

Huh, who asked me that question? Oh it was my guardian angel talking…I want you all to meet my guardian angel  And yes, Debster and Ace, you can borrow him, only if you promise to return him!

Well, my guardian Angel for one; I’m completely heterosexual, but I have a mad crush on Angie!

5. THE REFLEX: “You gone too far this time, but I’m dancing on the valentine. I tell you somebody’s fooling around with my chances on the dangerline. I’ll cross that bridge when I find it another day to make my stand”. What is the worst thing a lover has done that you forgave them for?

Oh, this is not a fun topic.…Which ex do I start with? Probably the one, that I’ve mentioned before (MICHAEL the GEMINI) who repeatedly told me he “loved me for my soul” what crap! I would get so hurt and angry and then fall for the same b.s.. I had sweet revenge though when we broke up and then told me; that I was the sexiest woman he had ever been with; which of course I already knew but I was already with someone else who worshipped me, karma can be a real bitch 

6. ORDINARY WORLD: “Well now pride’s gone out the window cross the rooftops, run away, left me in the vacuum of my heart. What is happening to me? Crazy, some’d say, ‘Where is my friend when I needed you most?’ Gone away.” Do you still keep in touch with your best friend from high school/university?

Oh and relive the glory days? Considering I got kicked out of two high schools, I kind of burned some bridges. I still have dreams about my best-friend from then. So, Susie if you somehow read this, call me!

It depends on who’s mooning me!

I’m pleading the fifth because I don’t want lightening bolts coming out of the sky at me…Wouldnt’ do for Little Mary Sunshine!

Not a porn film.…that would tarnish my halo and posing nude? It depends on who’s offering me the million? Old Hef? Not likely…

Never, ever would I wear real animal fur. Actually, I always make a scene when I see a person flaunting real fur..YUCK!

Actually, I have six tatt.‘s…Four around my right ankle, all N. American symbols, I have a hawk over my heart..(No, not the goofy type) and I have Shakti and Shiva standing above a lotus flower right on my spine…And I plan to get more. As my first tatt. artist said, “Why buy art? BE art!”

Pretty personal question isn’t it? I have 19 posts on this blog..still a youngster here.

9. You are driving down a road and your GPS says turn right, but the road has a Dead End sign. You check your GPS and according to it’s map, there is a road at the end of the Dead End road that you need to turn onto. Do you follow the GPS?

No, because while it’s a smart computer, it’s still a computer and a computer is only as smart as the programmer and obviously the programmer is not the great and powerful Oz…so I just click my ruby slippers  together, I start chanting “there’s no place like (fill in the blank) and lo and behold I’m where I wanted to go, no thanks to the GPS!

8. If you had a $2 bill, would you spend it?

Are you going to give me one and try and jinx me? Sure, I would spend it, money is money is money!

7. When there is nobody else around and you sneeze or cough, do you cover your mouth?

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there, does it still make a sound? Ah, Grasshopper, such are the mysteries of life…

6. You are a DJ at a radio station and your first guest is Bud… what is the first question you are going to ask him?

Which Beatle’s song is your favorite? And is it true double the mint, double the pleasure?

5. Have you ever stopped to help a stranger with a flat tire?

Hella no, I can’t even fix a flat tire for myself, much less anyone else…I’d tell them to get a membership in  Triple AAA, just like I do, so I don’t have to change tires…

4. You get on an airplane and you find that your seat neighbor is Kimber… what do you talk about or do you ignore her completely?

I pick up the most recent copy of a gossip rag and ignore her…Sorry, Kimber, I get very bitchy if I have to go on an airplane and ignore everyone, so don’t take it personally, even though we’ve never even met!

3. Have you ever rode an elephant?

You mean like Dumbo? Actually, I have but I wouldn’t again unless the elephant him/herself told me it was o.k. because of the cruelty inflicted on “tame” elephants.

2. Time to bitch & moan! What is your biggest complaint about your current friends on Facebook?

What’s Facebook? Is that a place where an image of your face is placed in a book your friends can buy? Seriously though.…I don’t have a Facebook account so I can’t bitch and moan about my current as opposed to my “past” friends.

1. School is back in session for all little girls and boys now. What, in your life, changes when kids go back to school?

Stress! When I go shopping I don’t have any kids running into me with a frazzled mother..I can shop in peace, sigh…My son is old enough where I don’t have to pack his lunch for him anymore or have teacher/parent conferences..he’s in college! Yippppeeeee, I survived his teen age years (total hell) and lived to tell about it!

Oh that thunking felt SO good...
